Front End Developer

We are looking for an experienced frontend developer to strengthen the web development team of DataScouts. DataScouts is an AI-enabled Ecosystem Intelligence Platform that helps businesses to stay informed about the key stakeholders, industry trends, market forces, emerging technologies and evolutions within their business ecosystem.

Tasks.

Analyse, design, implement, test, and deploy front-end features of an innovative software solution to help business analysts gain market insights faster and more efficiently
Create a responsive, user friendly and innovative front-end for visualising and interacting with relevant business information.
Provide intuitive and interactive visualisations of data, information and insights
Closely collaborate with product management to understand user needs, develop user stories and where necessary prototype potential solutions
Ensure delivery of quality software through thorough testing and peer reviews.
Propose new tools, libraries, methods and technologies in order to continuously improve our development practices

Profile.

5+ years of experience with developing data heavy front–end applications using JavaScript (Vuejs)
5+ years of experience with using HTML and CSS
Experience in TypeScript is an asset
Experience in Go.js en D3.js is a big plus
Experience using Vitest or other front-end testing software is a must have
High standards with regards to code quality

Additional skills and qualifications:

Knowledge of Git and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence
Experience with web development using PHP and Laravel framework
Good understanding of wide range of database systems (ElasticSearch, MySQL, graph databases)
Fluency in English (spoken and written
