Sales and Account Manager

DataScouts is looking for a sales and account manager who can help us grow DataScouts even faster! With a young and enthusiastic team, we commit ourselves every day to become the market leader in making our customers the best-informed companies by combining data, AI and human expertise.

As a Sales and Account Manager, you are responsible for building a long-term relationship with clients, from making first appointments to renewing annual contracts. You will reach out to potential customers by means of cold calling, you will follow up on inbound leads, represent DataScouts at events and nurture the relationship up to signature.

Tasks.

  • You are scouting for new customers, proactively prospecting and visiting customers.  
  • You talk to customers to find out what their business challenges are and how DataScouts can help to address them. 
  • You give product demos and translate product functionality into customer benefits.
  • You inspire customers to think differently and adopt new tools and methods 
  • You propose the right combination of products and services that best match your customer’s needs, in collaboration with consulting and product team
  • You take on an advisory role and ensure that the communication and/or negotiations run smoothly.
  • You act as a consultant that provides the greatest opportunities to drive revenue.

Profile.

  • You have about 2 - 4 years of relevant commercial experience in a B2B environment and bring a warm network in innovation and business development 
  • ICT knowledge and data affinity
  • Native Dutch speaker, speaking fluently English is a must-have
  • Bachelor diploma
  • Self-starter “can do” mentality
